An Express Entry application after a refusal

A refusal letter is short. The reasons behind it are in the officer's notes, and those can be obtained.

The situation

An applicant has been refused and does not know whether the problem was the evidence, the classification of their work history, or the program they chose. Reapplying without knowing which is expensive and usually repeats the same result.

What the work involves

  1. Request the officer's notes and read the refusal against what was actually filed.
  2. Reassess eligibility across the programs the applicant qualifies for, not only the one already tried.
  3. Rebuild the evidence: employment records, credential assessment, language results, proof of funds.
  4. Advise on the sequence and the timing, including where a provincial stream is the better route.

This describes the shape of a matter of this kind, not an individual client file. It is not legal advice, no outcome is implied, and how any particular matter runs depends on its own facts.
